The popularity of mobile phones among the youths is unquestionable. As a matter of fact, all latest and technically superior gadgets are extremely popular with the younger crowds mainly because they are always eager to learn and perform new things. Being studded with a host of latest features, latest mobile phones are largely popular with the youth in UK.

Manufacturers too have identified this aspect and as a result you ave the whole UK mobile phone market flooded with youth centric handset. An independent research have revealed that the young generation is increasingly flashing their shiny mobile phones to impress and attract. The day when every youth would have atleast one mobile phone in all of UK is not very far.

Most popular features of a mobile phones among the young users of UK includes the music player, integrated camera, high definition gaming and sometimes even the radio. However, it would be foolish on our part to classify any handset make exclusively for the youth, people young at heart like me too makes up quite a big chunk of these 'youth' centric phones.

Though many company have been continuously offering handset models designed for youth, the N-Gage model from Nokia truly stood out in the past because of its unusual style and superior gaming experience – an activity hugely popular among the young. Today we have many handsets designed for gaming like the Sidekick. It will be safe to say that sport centric phones like Nokia 5500 and Sony Ericsson W710i is primarily targeted at the youth.

Music has always been a driving force of almost all youths. Popularity of music phones like Sony Ericsson's Walkman line up as well as Xpress Music of Nokia among the new generation is growing everyday. So much so that now we have music phones from the makers of iPods. Integrated cameras too enjoys a lot of popularity among the younger crowd.
